Our Story

The story of Sequoia Vista Enterprises began decades ago with two "back to the land" hippies.  Little did they know the the land was more valuable for timber farming than for a hippie commune!  Years ago, David Yager had a finish carpenter / millwork business that made heart redwood Victorian trim, corbels (brackets), balusters and door & window casings/trim.  

Since that time there have been many changes here on the land, but the love of wood and creating with our hands has only gained momentum!  As that love to build and create grew so did our business!!  Sequoia Vista has grown and is now made up of three divisions:

• Noah’s Arc Welding and Fabrication, started in 1996.
• The Wood Products division was formed in 2004.
• The creation of a Limited Liability Corporation for real estate development.

We’re also working toward creating a Limited Liability Corporation for real estate development. This is being done in partnership with Matt’s brother Josh Yager who is a Certified Financial Planner and Attorney in Southern California.  The company president, Matt Yager, is a California licensed welding contractor, licensed general contractor, licensed timber operator, licensed real estate agent, certified welding inspector, certified welding technician, expert welder, and a few other things.
